Strong partnerships lead to greater impact
We thrive on collaboration. A small organization with big goals, we realize we have greater impact when we work together. Everything we do relies on support from other groups or individuals who share our desire to see every young child become a successful reader.
Our partnerships take many forms. We have a large number of corporate or community supporters who donate their time or money to support our events and programs. We also work with schools across the province to offer reading support for students who need it. We collaborate with other non-profit groups like the Calgary Food Bank to distribute books to low-income families. And, we partner with organizations on major events like our annual CBC Calgary Reads Big Book Sale fundraiser.
We value our partners and are always seeking opportunities to deepen our relationships and do more together. We’d love to talk to you about how we can work together to give the gift of reading to Alberta children.

“Partnering with Calgary Reads has been a rewarding and enlightening journey for Calgary Corporate Challenge. Our partnership has allowed us to better educate our corporate audience about the importance of encouraging early literacy for children and families throughout our city.”
