Calgary Reads would like to invite you and your child or your classroom to join our Kids Book Club! It’s so easy, you can join us right on this website to chat and comment about favourite children’s books. Our volunteers, staff and supporters will be providing children’s book reviews and great questions to make it easy for you to have a wonderful ‘book club’ discussion with a child. Here’s how to get started:

• Choose a book from our recently reviewed titles (on the sidebar to the right).
• Borrow that book from the library, from a friend or purchase from a bookstore.
• Read the story with your child once.
• Read our book club review and the questions.
• Read the story again with your child and then ask the questions posed in our book club review page.
• Share your child’s comments below the book club review. And read the comments of others.
