  • The Belvedere Club is aimed at the Renaissance individuals of Calgary; it takes as its inspiration the coffee houses of Paris of a time before smart phones and the digital disconnect. At the core of it is a discussion club, aimed at bringing together a diverse range of minds whose common link is a desire to share, inspire and be inspired by others.   • Calgary Women’s Literary Club

  • founded in 1906. Meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm between early October until the end of November and the beginning of February until the end of March, at Memorial Park Library. A theme is selected each year and each active member presents at 45-50 minute paper on an author and his or her works. A one-page summary of each paper is archived in the Glenbow Museum.
